Fans of actress Ankita Lokhande were left broken-hearted when she was evicted from Bigg Boss season 17 in fourth place. While Munawar Faruqui won the show, netizens were quick to take to social media to share heartfelt messages to the actress. She had gained recognition on the show for her strong will and standing up for others. From opening up about her late ex-boyfriend Sushant Singh Rajput to her constant fights with her husband Vicky Jain, Lokhande quite often made the headlines.

After getting evicted from the show during the grand finale of the show, she apologised to her mother-in-law Ranjana Jain. It was seen that the host Salman Khan made the Pavita Rishta actress’ mother and Vicky’s mother take vows from each other. Ankita proceeded to apologise to her mother-in-law for the fights she had with her hubby on national television and promised that she would shower him with immense love. She even went on to add that since his mother hadn't lived with them, the latter didn’t realise that their fights on the show were casual. As Munawar, Abhishek Kumar, and Mannara Chopra celebrated Ankita’s eviction, Vicky Jain was seen getting emotional. Even the host was in shock. Talking about the same, quoted by Bollywood Shaadis, Khan said, “I thought you would become the winner. I am shocked that you are not. I don’t know what has happened that you have come out of the house. The whole team is shocked. Last year, I thought Priyanka (Chahar Chaudhury) would win and this year, I had the feeling that Ankita would win. Talking about Munawar Faruqui’s win, the comedian took home the coveted trophy of Bigg Boss season 17 along with a cash prize of Rs 50 lakh and a brand-new Hyundai Creta. Apart from his bonding with Mannara Chopra, his journey on the show included facing turmoil when his ex-girlfriend Ayesha Khan entered the show. She made a lot of allegations against him, accusing him of emotional manipulation and cheating. They even brought up Nazila Sitaishi, his ex who he was dating before Ayesha. The accusations made by the two women had left the viewers in shock. For the unversed, Bigg Boss 17 is Munawar Faruqui’s second reality show win. He had won Kangana Ranaut’s Lock Upp season 1.
